With Mary in her assisted living home, my time at our home is often spent trying to fill in the lonesome times with all the many things I love to do - gardening, ag classes at the local extension service farm campus, online searches, building my computers, and such.
But, today I was thinking how good it would be to see my sweet daughters. I'd have so wonderful a time together with my two girls!
For several days I've kept a YouTube page that opens when I run Firefox - it's one where a mother dances with her son, at his wedding, and he sings a song to her, in tribute to her love for him.
I was thinking, "I wonder if there are father songs for dads who love their daughters the same way?," so I searched http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=daughter+songs&aq=f and yes!
But one that really touched my heart, and brings tears as I listen, is this about a boy who's daddy was a trucker . . .

This last YouTube page lists numerous fathers' songs for their beloved daughters. I've recorded some to keep and play even after YouTube and that dumb-brained WMG group yanks some off for their selfish $$ interests that actually cost WMG lots of lost good will and $$ for lost music sales!
Anyway, it's a good memory day, today, again, for my daughters' dad!
